         2 Items:

         (1) We're not condemning the whole company for one mistake, just
the service division. ;-)

         (2) The problem is that *many* of us users on the list have
experience the exact same, or similar, problems with IBM's repair
service. Its a *far* cry from what those of us who are ThinkPad "Veterans"
remember from the TP 75X days...
