Yeah.
Once I sent in a 760 with a bad dsp.
EZServe replaced the hard drive, never touched
anything to do with the modem.
I made them search from here to hell to get back
my hard drive - but of course it could never be found.
Second time they actually focused on the reported problem.
I will never send a unit back with anything more that the builtin
memory and an old 850Mb drive using IBM preloaded dose95.
EZ serve on another occassion said they would charge me
a grand for some repair, I forget now, because the unit had
the wrong screwset within it.
I had had it serviced at an IBM sanctioned repair shop, and told
EZServe to call them.
After a LOT of back and forth, finally they relented. Screwset indeed.
Currently, My760XL runs quietly, then will suddenly run quite loudly.
It is as if someone cranked up the volume of the engine of a race
car. I am about out of warrenty, but am really nervous about
EZ Serve.
