OK, more specifics. I put the RH 6.0 CD in the SCSI CD in the Dock II.
I put the RH 6.0 boot disk in the floppy drive attached to the Dock
II. I have the TP701 set to Smart boot. It boots from the floppy and
comes up to the opening screen. I try a standard install or an expert
install and either way I get

boot:
Loading initrd.img............................................boot
failed

Also, in support of Len and as a special treat for Mr. RTFRFC, I have
posted all replies on top. I appreciate those who have contributed to
the development of Internet. Having been around folks from ARPA then
DARPA then ARPA since the mid-80's, I meet many who make that claim.
Regardless, I would submit that folks should be shown deference on
this list based on their contribution to this list and not other
laurels. Thanks for the assistance.

Rusty
