IBM also pull drivers and docs off the net. There are no docs
or drivers for the 701-to-Dock II adaptor, for example.
The documentation for drivers is often woefully inadequate. For
example, some drivers and their docs were apparently written in
the days of DOS. Even though the web site often shows that the
docs were updated a month ago, they often neglect to state
which operating system the driver is intended for or, to put it
another way, they neglect to tell you that the device requires
no drivers when run under Win95.
Drivers are often hard to find at IBM's website, too.
The organization of IBM's website, and its forums, are nothing
to brag about, either.
