Judging from my one experience in trying to tear a thinkpad battery apart,
I don't
think it will be at all easy.
I get the feeling that these things are made entirely by machine, with no real
intent of ever opening them up again. In the case of Li-ON batteries there
might even be some legal issues, since there has been a past history of Li
batteries burning up UPS tracks (ala Mollie cells, et al).
If you do however find info on this, please please tell us about it. I suspect
that you'll have an adventure doing it.
