which linux works with 770e

i know that all linux supposed to work with my ibm 770e but ihad a
nightmare with SUSE 6.1 so i am looking for somethiing that has proven to
work. I still couldnt get SUSE to configure and recognize my video ram &
even the ps/2 trackpoint (mouse)

Is redhat easy to install and configure ?? Any other better choices for
Linux ?
