Hello.
The z50 came back from IBM solarcon/ EZ serve.
They simply replaced the whole computer.
The problem with the z50 is that the DC/DC board can touch the shield of the
case. The IBM people could not figure this out until now, it would seem that
they never had a machine that was not " tampered " with. What they did was
to cut the bottom off, this allowed them to find the problem, however, it
also left the machine with this hole.
The fix?, a square of tape to the inside case!.
I will have to reload everything back on to the z50, however it will not
sync with the old settings. This will delay getting the 730 mirrors out.
