No, the module snaps in and out as a whole. No soldering required.
Your task would be to disassemble the machine and then reassemble it
properly. :)
I'm surprised IBM doesn't offer this potential, easy upgrade to
Thinkpad owners. I'm sure 770E owners would love to jump from a
P2-266 to a P2-400. :)
