Speaking only for me and my trusty 1451i, all of a sudden the screen would be
pink in the upper right-hand corner of the screen for the first several seconds
after waking up from a sleep. There would be a pink haze across approximately
half the screen, which would apprear to evaporate very quickly, much like a
window being defrosted.

A little later, the screen would come up pink at the power-on password prompt.
There wasn't anything wrong with the displaying of characters, just the
pinkness.

When I talked to EZServe they accepted what I said without hesitation. I have
since received word that they changed out the screen for this.

Given that they changed out an expensive component--the single most expensive--
it wasn't something easily fixed. I'm surprised, since this seems to
happen to lots
of different models. Given how expensive this is to fix I'm sure they're
working on
it.
