A followup to our discussion about upgrading the cpu...
i was browsing IBM's site for any technical information about my TP
and came up with a page for IBM technitians on how to upgrade and
serive a ThinkPad.

It has some pretty nice pictures on how to remove the cpu, with
detailed instructions how to do it.
Plus other documents like to how remove the LCD, or upgrade
any other part of the TP.
Plus some problem determination tricks to see if there is a hardware
problem or how to pinpoint the problem. It also has a complete list
of error codes and what to do in each case.
