It's been almost 2 years since I sent mine in on my TP600. I also spent
almost a year and many phone calls to get my win98 upgrade of which I was
told many times by many IBM that I was eligible. Every time I called I was
referred to a different 800 #. I finally got an employee, who lied, and she
said I wasn't authorized. I finally gave up. If I was paid for my time, I
could have purchased it from MS and have enough left to buy Office.
