 Rudolf,

You have to write a book on the 730 someday! As they say, "Your the Man!"

I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

Hello.

I have been bewildered by the short battery life of the 730t.
After some probing, I found that most packs are at the end of their
life.
I decided to try and re-build one. I was quite pleased with the outcome.
The packs are nothing more than 6 sub " AA " cells in series. There is
also
a thermister in the circuit. The rebuild consists of using an exacto
knife
around the seams, carefully cutting until one has two halves, then
cutting
the cells from the case and connections. Replacement takes about an
hour.
Cells cost around $ 20.00 . The life is nearly 1.5 hours per pack.
Nearly 3 hours run time from both packs is O.K..
