My company has been standardized on ThinkPad's for several years. We solved
the problem by dealing directly with IBM's vendor. When we hire a new
employee, one of the details is to automatically order the nameplate from
the vendor:

The nameplates cost 5.50 each, but to us it's worth it to not have the
frustration and delays -- plus, the company's service has always been prompt
and good.
