--Arrgh! I left my laptop on the ground and accidentally kicked it a few
inches on the ground. There was no physical damage, and I immediately
booted it up to check for damages. Nothing, everything was O.K. A few days
later I get my new battery in the mail and when I turn on my laptop there is
no image on the screen, just a lightly glowing screen. Plugging it into an
external monitor shows an O.K. image, but I think I may have kicked loose
the screen connectors. I have downloaded and printed the large manual, but
I am virgin at operating on laptops. Any suggestions? I am off to pick up
a torx set of screwdrivers right now. I plan on taking it apart and
reseating the connectors. Any help or suggestions would be great. Please
let me know of anything that is a "trick to" getting off, or of easily
breakable parts. Hope I don't get electrocuted. This feels all too much
like laptop E.R. =( Wish me luck. Thanks in advance for your help.
