Hey/2
I'm using an IBM ThinkPad 600E, which has an MWave internal modem and
a sound chipset that seems to be the Crystal SoundFusion CS4610/11. It seems
that the modem and the sound use the same DSP chipset, although i'm
not sure. I'm using the default drivers from IBM's website.
My problem is that OS/2 (both WSeB and Warp4) crash with a trap D on the sound
driver. The machine never gets more than a few days uptime.
If i remove the sound driver the system works without sound but never crashes.
Any help would be appriciated.
PS:
I was once told to remove IBM's crappy driver and use some
other one, but i wasn't told any details on that.
