Somewhere deep in the bowels of the IBM web site
there is a FAQ guiding the installation of OS/2 on
Thinkpads. I used it on my 760CD and no problem.
I had to take off OS/2 and use the dreaded 'doze for
office work's sake, but if you find that faq, you likely
will find the exact steps to use, which may well be
different than what you have done.
