--Have any of guys or gals tested win 2K? An associate of mine tested the
beta, and said it was horrible. He said it was really unstable and still
needed a lot of work. Some of the local computer instructors on my island
have shown us the numerous security holes that it has built into it. Which
can really be dangerous if you're on a cable or DSL modem. I dunno, I'm
waiting until they release the second edition version. Just my 2 cents.

Well, by definition, OEM software is supposed to only be delivered with a
new
PC, not sold separately.
I doubt that the OEM version is missing anything particularly valuable that
the retail version has, but YMMV.
