Hi Dan,
Option B sounds pretty sloppy. Worse than that it may not get all
the apps running as it doesn't bring over registry data.
Did you know you can do an inplace upgrade of win9x to win2k?
I like to do clean installs as much as the next guy, but you may
want to consider this as option C. I would definitely put IBM Win2k/NT
and remove the IBM win9x that's there now.
