I'm running Win ME Beta 3 Build 2509 on my 770Z 9549-8AU and
everything seems to be working fine except I had to use PowerDVD instead
of Microsoft ME DVDPlayer or DVD Express since both would hang the machine
solid. ANother thing of interest is that it seems like even thoug Device
Manager looks correct, if I had my 3Com 3CCFEM656B 10/100 NIC + 56k modem
CardBus 32bit PCMCIA Card installed but the 3Com modem is enabled, then
the TP modem would keep saying the port is already open. The only way for
the TP modem to work is to disable the device. If the TP Modem was
enabled, the 3Com would give a blue screen of death when trying to do
diagnostics. If I turned the TP Modem off, the 3Com modem works fine so I
think it may be a problem with the 3Com card hunting for resources while
it worked fine in Win98SE since the 3Com drivers are voer a year old.
