Following recent threads on the idea of spending YOUR personal money on a
Windows OS... don't forget that if you purchase a new PC with Win x OEM
preinstalled, you can apply to MS for a refund as long as you don't boot
the machine from MS software in any way!
So, if you are only going to use Linux, have a Linux boot disk and boot the
system from that and install your OS removing Win. I know the Linux groups
will have more on the finer detailing on this...
