thanks for the URL..
i personally LOVE the ICQ noises.. makes me think i'm typing on a REAL
computer terminal..
one with gears and cams and the dred "copperoptus", all with a slight
oily odor of a nice TTY.. :-)

the problems with the 760 keyboard was under heavy use, it would wear
and become difficult to depress some of the more used keys..
i think this might be what you're experiencing now and thus your need
for the keyclick applet..
mushy bottoming and stiff action = a need for audible feedback..
