largest HDD the 701 will support is 6.4gigs..
also, do not use a new toshiba 6.4gig as it will not work in the 701, but will work fine in
other thinkpads..
(there have been some who say they sell larger HDD's than this for all older thinkpads, but i
have yet to see one and thus can't comment)
the newer and larger HDD's will require a bit of tinkering since the screw holes do not match
up, but for those pragmatic users, just shove the drive (with 701 caddy) into the drive bay,
since there is little that can happen to it in there.. :-)
