Unfortunately, here in the US, there is a very good chance that
the thieves could successfully sue you for the physical and
mental pain and suffering as a result of the burning Thinkpad.
But PLEASE, let's not get an off topic thread going about how
ludicrous the courts and public have gotten in the US over the
last 10 years.
