fellow 730t folks,
not really a linux guy but it seems like a good choice for these things
, if somebody can figure out how to get it to leave the internal pcmcia
support alone on the booting pcmcia drive. seems like the problem I have
with any os is that the tablet has some kind of internal pcmcia support (in
bios?) that allows it to boot before loading os's pcmcia drivers. booting
off a floppy might work but then you loose some of your portablity which is
a lot of the attraction of the tablet format.
I'm running win3.11 cause the pen support is nice and quick. being a
starving artist I want to use this thing as a digital sketch pad as well as
a high powered pda. paintbrush leaves a little to be desired, anybody know
of a decent drawing app for win3.x ? don't need much (monochrome) just a
good airbrush feature and the ability to save as jpg and/or gif.
Also, anybody know about switching out the screen from a 360pe? or
upgrading the processor from some other tp maybe a 75mhz?

730t y2k compatibility- go into the bios, click on date, change year to
2000,
all there is to it.
