Hello.
The cells in the 730t battery pack are indeed called 4/5 A.
I have rebuilt several, the easy way to get the pack open,
use an "exacto" knife, score the edges, this is to say, go
over and over again, the seams.
This will thin the plastic, soon you will be able to pull the
pack in 2 parts, without prying, you will have no major surface
damage this way.
You will find the cells are connected to the one half in series.
You will also find a thermister, little silver thing with 2 wires.
make a note of all of the wires and how they route in the case.
Because the cells that were in the case from the factory were
spot welded, the cells have no "tabs", your replacements most
likely will, this means you might need to whittle away some
plastic, but be careful, you only want to remove a small amount.
One easy way to get the cells to stay in position is with hot glue,
this allows the cells position to be adjusted so they fit the case
and will allow one to solder them together without excess
movement.
The rebuilt packs I have done give good service, and shopping
for surplus cells will allow for some bargains to be had.
As always. have fun.
