After a couple days of curing the Krylon is really taking on a hard finish.
Since this is a test piece, what the hell... ran my finger nails over it
with good pressure, no marks. Tossed some floppies on it, and threw some
other crap at it, put it in a computer bag with some floppies, a few CD
cases, pens etc and shook the hell out of it and I can't find anything.
I can still smell the paint, which means it's still curing, so it should be
even stronger when the paint odor fades. I still have concerns about the
logos, Bill Morrow suggested that I could get them off by lifting them with
a finger nail, I have a old 560 TFT bezel, and it got to the point of
cracking and I still couldn't get them off. I guess after being stuck there
for 5 years, they are happy there. I would hate to spend the time doing
this, and it is very time consuming, and have the logo area look like crap.
I think I'll experiment taping off the logo and see how that comes out.
I'll scan the results for anyone that would like them.
