The IBM Thinkpad 760 Users Guide, page 242, says all
three 760EL processors are w/o L2 Cache.
Of course they have PCI bus, they all have that but
that has nothing to do with it. And no, they can't run
the same as a 760ED with 256K cache. You guys should
check your information more closely, get some speed
tests, such as Wintune from www.winmag.com, etc.
before making rash statements.
