Close, but no cigar Jane. The case I was speaking of that came with my DVD drive
is a simple flip-top envelope like an old portfolio case. The same case came
with the CD drive for my 600E, and they're just big enough to slide an
Ultraslimbay device in. In fact, now that I've checked my pile of Thinkpad
stuff, I've got another one that the CD for my 760XL came in and that's just a
bit larger in the opening, i.e. large enough for the 75X/76X series devices vs.
the Ultraslimbay devices.
The one the Port Rep told you about is _much_ thicker, probably the same case
that Sigma Data used to ship with all of their hard drives. Got two of those
too!

Just got one for our trip to China in Nov. A very nice piece. Got it from
www.buy.com for $88.95 and FREE shipping.
