I don't think that would have worked.
I tried connecting an 800x600 TFT LCD to an XGA video card in a 760ED
XGA, and it didn't work.
The connector was similar, but was keyed differently. I modified the
connector so that it would plug in, but that didn't work. Pinouts may
have been different, I don't know. I don't know enough about the
digital signals on an LCD bus to know why it didn't work.
