Nothing magic... and nothing that really worked. I wasn't able to boot with
the bad drive in the 600X because of the variety and volume of files that need
to load during boot, but I could put it in the 770 UltraBay and access minor
parts of it. I got off some files but can't access others. So, it's still
hosed, but I'm not missing anything critical. Just hate to have to waste the
time building a new system from scratch, especially when I'm in crunch mode on
my current project and don't have much free time to play with it.
I will try some of the other ideas to see if I can get further.
