Expect Egghead to be second rate, for sometimes astounding prices.
I have purchased 347 items on Egghead with only two bad experiences...
but Egghead is not for the weak of heart... you should really watch
how it works for a couple of weeks before you take the plunge...
Egghead has eventually corrected every error, which the previous
company, Onsale, seldom did.
There are three very bad vendors that sell laptops on Egghead... If
you don't know the equipment, stay away... Be prepared to act quickly
when you discover a problem.
On average, I have saved a huge amount over what I have spent on the
IBM refurb site or any other location. But I am a much meaner guy
than when I made that first bid.
