Today I noticed that my 600X is running really hot. I can't seem to feel any
air movement coming out on the left side where the fan usually blows out. I'm
not sure if this is something that just happened today or if it is related to
my newly set up HD (after the last drive crashed) that was built this past
weekend. As far as I know I have set up this HD with Windows 2000 exactly as
it was before the crash. I believe I have installed all of the IBM drivers
too.
Any ideas as to why the fan isn't running? I did do a BIOS 'Initialize'
during the troubleshooting of my bad HD (at the IBM tech's request); could
that have caused the fan troubles?
Since I run Seti_at_Home, which maxes the CPU, having good cooling is important.
Thanks in advance...
Rob
