I wouldn't count on a 100MHz SODIMM working reliably in a 66MHz bus ThinkPad
600. I tried a 64Mb part pulled out of Compaq in my TP600. In one of the two
slots, it was recognized correctly and passed memory tests. In the other
slot, it was recognized as a 32Mb part!!
I'm pretty sure I've seen other reports of odd behavior with 100MHz memory
in a 66MHz bus ThinkPad, but I don't remember the details.
Sounds like a great deal for newer ThinkPads, though.
