James, the part number on my 730Tx drive is FRU 48G9896.
I also have a drive (actually just the enclosure) from my 760ED that
also works. It's FRU is 46H5749.
Anything from the 730, 760Cx/Ex families should work fine. Keep in
mind also that IBM tends to change part numbers from time to time, based
on such trivial things like different colored eject buttons, whether the drive is
a Sony or Teac, new case, etc (I've seen it all too much).
