You can't put a memory card in the PCMCIA slot on the 760 series laptops Ain.
Thinkpads haven't worked that way for years.
Your expansion memory is behind a door on the bottom of the laptop. Look at the
right side of the machine behind and below the display latch and you'll see a
small slide switch almost at the base of the unit. This is the security lock.
Slide it towards the rear of the machine to unlock the DIMM door. Then turn the
unit over and you'll see the DIMM slot door on the bottom. Slide the DIMM cover
open and you'll see the DIMM carrier card in the bay.
The unit uses 3.3V EDO SO DIMMs of 8, 16, 32 or 64MB up to a maximum of 104MB,
with one 32MB plus one 64MB plus the 8MB on the motherboard equals 104MB.
