That's known as James leaping to a conclusion and going over the cliff! ;-) Yes,
they should all work in the 760EL as it's CARDBUS (32BIT) enabled. Have you
installed the PC Card Director? http://www.pc.ibm.com/qtechinfo/GSMH-3AVHVL.html
I had this same problem years ago on my 760XL, wouldn't see Flash Memory cards.
