if the 560E will take that 2gig it now has, it'll take up to 6.4gig for
sure..
12.5mm is the max height of the drive bay..
most any HDD brand SHOULD work..
since i try to stick to travelstar drives i have little experience with
hitachi and fujitsu..
ibm has used hitachi drives in some of their machines and fujitsu has been
making drives for 20+ years..
the only caveat is that nothing is 100% on older machines..
for instance, a 6gig IBM works fine in a 701C, while a 6gig toshiba will not
work reliably..
why..??
never researched the reason.. just use ibm drive in 701's.. :-)
