Most SMTP servers will not relay mail from outside a know subnet. The best
way to send mail while on the road is to use your pop account as the send
agent. Most decent email clients will allow configuration to send via SMTP
or POP. The POP method uploads the email to the POP server after
authentication, and then the POP server relays the email as local.
