I assume this is the 700C? I'm not positive, but a lot of the 700 series, most notably the
75x series, used Western Digital WD90C24 chipsets. Western Digital
no longer supports these, but you might try www.pc.ibm.com/us/thinkpad for support,
then choose your machine from the list. I had a 700, but only kept it for less than
a week before selling it.
