If you've lost or misplaced the installation floppy that came with your external
drive, you can download a copy from here:

I've got a generic BOOT floppy I made for loading an external Backpack drive on
755CX systems. I'd be happy to send you a copy, but you'd be much better off
downloading the IBM floppy listed above. It's the original floppy for the
1969-010 and 1969-011 drives.
