I have to ask....

How does one back up something this big? Especially someone like me who
isn't a business user with access to multiple gigs of server space...

I'm aware of the technique of keeping an base install of the OS on CD with
a separate CD (or more as necessary) for data, but isn't there a simpler
way without having to resort to expen$ive means?

How big have DAT (or other tape media) drives gotten?
