I believe it's up to $29.00 annually now for the online service, same as McAfee.
But you can buy a copy of NAV for less than $20 and get updates for the virus
defs basically forever, you just can't upgrade the "engine". And Norton's
definition of "lifetime" leaves a lot to be desired as they feel it applies to
the marketing life of the product and they frequently stop offering virus
updates for older products. NAV is also a part of SystemWorks which is widely
available for $29.

Sorry to tell you, but the C: partition MUST be 2GB in FAT16 for the recovery CD
to run properly. (Actually, 2.1GB works best).

If you keep the C: partition at the mandatory size and FAT, then you can easily
select to "Recover to C: drive" from the recovery utility boot menu and the
remainder of your drive will be completely untouched. You'll have to reload
BootMagic after a recovery however. See: http://www.thinkpads.com/hints.htm

James
