I've been happily using Fujitsu 20 Gig 9.5mm drives in my Thinkpad 570 and
570E. I believe IBM puts these drives on some of their newer ThinkPads. I
think you could find it for about the same price ($160). They are only 2
Gig bigger, but since they are thinner, you'll be able to use them in your
next machines (the thinner ones won't take 12.5 mm).
I've been using a 18 Gig Toshiba in my TP560X. I believe the 560/560E
won't recognize drives that big, unless you use special software.
