The price of TFT monitors is still sky-high, so I thought I
might replace my aging desktop computer with one of the larger
TPs. The whole computer might cost less than a TFT monitor
alone.
I'm looking for a 300-400 MHz 600E. I've been checking out
ebay. You get the whole gamut of sellers. Some don't even
know if the unit might still be under warranty, some give the
month of its expiration.... Prices seem to be just below
$1,000, unless the machine is "loaded".
A few days ago, there wasn't much selection in 770 models, but
looking again this evening, things have improved. Most 770s
for sale on ebay are 233 MHz. I'm not sure if I want to go
with something that is only a machine that is only a bit faster
than what it is replacing.
Any suggestions ... ?
