Welcome to the list Mary Lou.

First question for you is, do you have _any_ operating system on your 760XL now?
E.g., W95, OS/2, etc.?

Is the hard drive bootable? E.g., when you turn the system on do you get a C:\
prompt on the display?

Let us know,

James

PS: Text only to the list is appreciated rather than HTML messages.

Subject: Installing OS to a blank HDD...

Hello,

I'm a new TP user and I have a rather
important question (to me anyway):

How do I install WIN98SE to my
hard drive without an external
cd-rom drive? Am I dreaming? Do
I need to have a selectadock or
external cd-rom to do this?

Oh, I failed to mention I have a
TP 760XL, I do have a 20xCDrom
drive that I swap with my floppy...

This seemed so easy to do on all
of my old Desktops!

Clueless in Upstate NY...
