Hello Mike; Yes it is very well built and of hi quality.
Got mine on Saturday and have been immersed ever since. Got it loaded to
320 ram and 20gb hdd.
IBM Via Voice ver 7.0 works extremely well just using the on board mike
in a quiet room. With noise you do need a better mike.
For digital photo work its quite good. Even will permit the insertion of
a compact flash card or a IBM microdive. Of course the screen is not the
high res screen like the IBM Thinkpad A21p.
