From what I've seen on-line it seems as if it's merely an integration of a
crosspad with a thinkpad. I have a crosspad and it's a great little thing to
draw on -- I get to throw away the paper and keep the data, most importantly
drawings.

Is the machine anything more than just the mating of a crosspad and a
pen/touch interface thinkpad? Not that I don't have techno-lust in my heart,
but to have everything together in a smaller & integrated package would be
nice.

Are the pens the same ones used on the 730T/TE and 360P? Some kind of
non-powered electro-magnetic thingy. I haven't torn one apart to see what the
circuit is, as I only have a couple and a regular PDA stylus won't cut it.
