I recently picked up a 560e with out a floppy drive. I was under the
impression that with I could use the floppy drive off my 730t with the
560 cable. Am I mistaken about this?
When I tried to boot from a Linux install disk nothing happened, and the
machine went strait into windows 95.
The Windows 95 Device Manager shows two Standard Floppy Disk Controllers,
one of has a bright red x over it when the floppy is connected and when it
isn't. The Communications Port also has a bright red x over it as well.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
