the blue slide pushes the contents of the modem interface out AFTER you
release the bezel (blanking or otherwise) by raising the small, upside down,
"U" shaped clip that holds the bezel in place.. :-)
i did so many of these, its almost tattoo'ed inside my eyelids.. :-)
