I have a 18 GB Toshiba drive that works in my 560X (similar model to the
560Z, but harder-to-replace hard drive). However, the drive was formatted
in a TP600E, then put in the 560X. If you have another ThinkPad that will
easily recognize your new drive, you may try to format it there, and then
move it to your 560Z.
